The Maxi Jolly Chain Machine can overcome a variety of
obstacles when cutting pipe or tubing. A bad out of round
condition is no match for the Maxi, which has three wheel
positions, and a spring-loaded out of round compensating
device on the torch arm. The cam handle allows
accurate chain tension adjustments to either side of the
machines. The most durable and accurate of the Jolly
Chain Machines, the Maxi, is recommended for cutting
large diameter pipe.
Specify one of the following:
a) 1-3/8" (35mm) Torch Holder for a torch with 32 Pitch
torch rack.
b) 1-3/8" (35mm) Torch Holder for a torch with Metric Pitch
torch rack.
c) Torch having a barrel diameter 1-3/16" (30mm).
Torch is not included.
- Spring loaded out of round compensating device on the
torch arm is standard equipment.
- Bearings at all rotating point.
- Triple width drive chain for improved traction and tracking.
- Twin lever handles for applying quick chain tension and
release from the pipe.
- Precision chain tension adjustments can be made to
either side of the drive chain for improved tracking.
- Three wheel positioning for enhanced wheel-tracking
performance.
- Plated knurled wheels for more cutting accuracy.
- A second torch can be added quickly and easily, as it
is only a matter of adding a sliding support and torch
holder to the torch arm.
- Guide Strips are recommended when working with
pipes that are 18" (457mm) and larger or when fast
setup is required.
- Will cut vertical pipe 18" (457mm) and larger if used with
Guide Strips.
- Easily converted to motorized operation.
- Easily adapted for operation with 9’–14’ (274cm or
427cm) Flexible Drive Cable Kit.
- Motorized unit has maximum speed of 48" (1219mm) per
minute and minimum speed of 7" (179mm) per minute.
- Comes with enough chain to cut 3"–16" (76-406mm) pipe.
